taking a moment to appreciate right now how awesome the future is going to be, while soberly accepting that hedonic adaptation will rob me of much of the anticipated thill.

In the short term, the costs of full body MRIs will likely exceed benefits.
But if the data is linked to patient outcomes and aggregated, new tech will be unlocked that makes them positive expected value, esp. when follow-on treatment adjusts in equilibrium.
