I disagree. Zuck understands better than anyone how fragile social media platforms are. They all have an expiration date. Facebook is well past its prime. Instagram doesn’t have much room to grow.
If Meta was resting on their laurels and buying back stock, they’d be forecasting negative growth by 2030.
The only way out is to move into a market with better dynamics than social media. They have the money and ambition to make this happen. Meta can just keep dumping FB/Insta ad revenue into moonshot attempts. They have so many shots on goal, they’re nearly guaranteed to find success eventually.

zuck is a terrible CEO for $META, truly, twice in 5 years he's completely ruined what's otherwise an incredible business by always wanting to try to lead in other spaces. Sometimes its literally as easy as leading your space and buying back stock ala $AAPL
