UPDATE: ChatGPT is still doing a great job adding an upstairs to my house.
We are now 11 days from the deadline, still on time and on budget.
The secret? Hand the lowest level workers $100 bills after their first day working. ChatGPT's voice feature has also been clutch when communicating with hispanic subs.
The biggest issues so far have been:
Kitchen tiles from different lot numbers with different coloration. That required a drive to Arlington.
A hard time finding solid core doors that match the downstairs.
1 doorway was framed too narrowly, had to be fixed.
It was hard finding a reasonably priced window company that would also manage the brickwork.
Cabinets today, painting, appliances, lighting and carpet up next.
We'll have 24 people staying at our house the week of Thanksgiving - it's crunch time!
We're now closer to 1,100 square feet added instead of the original 900.
