Developer @omercelik says they implemented and are testing a change to add mflux to MLX first, followed by mlx-vlm, with deployment planned soon in MLXtra (cc @ivanfioravanti). Separately, Krea released open weights for Krea 2 on 2026-06-23: Krea 2 Raw (undistilled mid-training checkpoint for fine-tuning) and Krea 2 Turbo (a distilled, fast model with broad aesthetic variety).
