Source evidence

Almost exactly a decade ago i was in a relationship that was for a period split between SF and NYC.

as she moved back to NYC (and I stayed in SF) I made 2 prints of this image for us (and eventually I moved back to NYC).

i was unpacking a few things recently and without fully realizing it, noticed I've kept my copy of the print in my various work bags for the past decade. i think i did this because in some ways my life has always been split, and because i do think if one could connect these places, it could be near perfect for some moment in time, and maybe, it would make both cities better.

of course, i know these places are what they are because they are, in fact, not connected, but one can still daydream.

anyways, both are home now.
