Just hit submit on my @ycombinator application.
When Aaron Epstein (@aaron_epstein) wrote about Multiplayer AI in YC's latest Request for Startups, it hit close to home. AI hasn't had its multiplayer moment yet, and that's exactly the future we're building at Agent Orchestrator (@aoagents).
AO (@aoagents) is an open source IDE for managing fleets of coding agents without losing your mind. It has grown to 8.6K ⭐ on GitHub with a community of over 1,300 developers on Discord, and some of our top contributors now live and ship together at our house in Bangalore.
I built it for myself first. I was juggling agents across terminals, copy-pasting CI failures, switching between different harnesses on different products and terminals, and forgetting which terminal was doing what. AO fixed my own mess before it was anyone else's product.
And the thesis Aaron laid out is where we're headed next. The best work tools of the last two decades won by going multiplayer, the way Google Docs beat Word and Figma beat Photoshop. Agents are the most powerful tool a team has, yet everyone still uses them alone.
We want to change that, with live agent sessions and even entire agent fleets that anyone on your team can watch, steer, collaborate on, or take over.
Here is the founder video I submitted, hoping to land at the next YC batch :)
