Hey Everyone!
This is a repost from the early days of the channel.
With so many new subscribers since it was originally uploaded, I figured it deserved another chance.
In this video, I use thermal imaging to identify a hot (high-resistance) connection on an overhead power line and explain what we're looking at.
I'll admit... watching my older videos is a little embarrassing. 😅 I'm not entirely sure why I was yelling at the camera, but we've all got to start somewhere. Hopefully the information is still just as useful today as it was back then.
As always, this work is performed by trained and authorized utility personnel using proper procedures and PPE. Never approach or attempt to work on energized electrical equipment.
Thanks for watching!
*** These video's are NOT intended for training or D.I.Y. Only properly trained and authorized personal are allowed to work on this equipment. Always adhere to work methods and procedures particular to the company you are working for. ***
Be safe Everyone. Cheers! 🥂
