Brian Roemmele posted that he has open-sourced his 1993 circuit design and released version 1.0 of the schematic. The build uses LEDs on wires attached to drilled sunglasses so each LED aligns over a closed eye; he calls the design simple and quick to assemble and says he will publish a detailed how-to soon, requesting user progress updates.

Ok, I now officially open source my 1993 design!
This is version 1.0 of my circuit.
The LEDs at bottom center is on a wire to sunglasses you drill out as to position the LED over the center of the closed eye.
I’ll write a detailed explanation and how-to soon. But for those who understand this schematic, here it is.
Simple as it can be and fast to make.
