Though will it actually work?
general AI are trained well on open source CAD hobby projects + some available datasets. But not the machines you see on the streets, and not the ones that manufacture them.
Real stuff though, like car/plane/satellite data, is hidden from the general LLM training sets, and highly protected by the companies.

So yeah, part of the AI CAD progress is indeed general LLM improvements, like better spatial reasoning, while real designs need training on real company data.
