Brief

Stanine (2026-08-04) endorses @conviction, @mvernal and @saranormous as top Valley investors and amplifies Mike Vernal’s invite to Embed v7, a selective AI-founders program whose alumni include Cognition, ListenLabs, Quadrillion, Intelligence.ai and ReflectionAI. Vernal also seeds a provocative idea that software-as-easy-as-video could create TikTok-style platforms and a new class of software creators.

Why it matters

@stanine (posted 2026-08-04 14:41:29+00:00) asserts that @conviction, @mvernal and @saranormous are among the best investors in the Valley right now.

Key details

  • Mike Vernal (@mvernal) is recruiting for Embed v7, a small, selective cohort of AI founders; past participants include @cognition, @ListenLabs, Quadrillion, @Intelligence_ai and @ReflectionAI_.
  • Vernal proposes a hypothesis: if creating software becomes as easy as recording video, we could see TikTok-like platforms, a new software-creator class, and software becoming more content-like.

PSA to founders: @conviction and @mvernal and @saranormous are among the best investors in the Valley right now.

Come join Embed v7!

Embed is a small group of exceptional founders working at the frontier of AI. Past participants have included @cognition , @ListenLabs, Quadrillion, @Intelligenceai, @ReflectionAI and more.

Participants include a mix of consumer, enterprise, hardware and foundation-labs founders. The early v7 class has a lot of robotics / hardware folks, but we’re interested in anyone pushing the frontier forward.

I'm a big believer that founders have better ideas than I do, but one idea I’ve been noodling on recently is what happens when creating software becomes as easy as recording video. Do we end up w/ TikTok-like platforms and a new software creator class? Does software become more content-like?
