Brief

jxmnop maps specific models to tasks: Opus 5 (medium) for complex reasoning (when Sonnet-5/Gpt-5.6 Luna fail), Fable (low) for deep knowledge, GPT-5.6 sol (high) for systems engineering, Kimi K3 (medium) or GLM 5.2 (xhigh) for defensive cybersec, with Composer 2/Grok 4.5 Build as an emergency hybrid and Muse Spark for multimodal work. They also flag Claude's Opus 5 as near-Fable-5 capability at half the price.

Why it matters

Author @jxmnop uses Opus 5 (medium) for complex reasoning, explicitly when Sonnet-5 or Gpt-5.6 Luna "can't do the job"; for deep knowledge work they prefer Fable (low).

Key details

  • For complex systems engineering they trust GPT-5.6 sol (high) exclusively; for defensive cybersecurity they prefer Kimi K3 (medium), occasionally GLM 5.2 (xhigh); if those get stuck they delegate to a hybrid Composer 2 / Grok 4.5 Build setup.
  • For multimodal computer use they pick Muse Spark, and they note Claude's announcement that Claude Opus 5 is "thoughtful and proactive" and comes close to Fable 5's frontier intelligence at roughly half the price.

Awesome new addition to my workflow.

for complex reasoning, ill reach for Opus 5 medium, thats assuming Sonnet-5 or Gpt-5.6 Luna can't do the job. if it's deep knowledge work, still don't see a better option than Fable low. for complex systems engineering, i dont trust anything but GPT-5.6 sol high, and for defensive cybersec i tend to prefer Kimi K3 medium, (occasionally GLM 5.2 xhigh) and if either gets stuck i immediately delegate to hybrid Composer 2 / Grok 4.5 Build. and when im doing multimodal computer use theres no better choice than Muse Spark

Introducing Claude Opus 5.

It's a thoughtful and proactive model that comes close to the frontier intelligence of Fable 5 at half the price.
