Prashant Kishor is currently leading from the Bankipur seat. There is a high chance that he will win and become first MLA from his party, Jan Suraaj.

Though I have very little hope from politicians, I hope Prashant Kishore can show Bihar a new direction in politics.

If he wins a seat that has been to BJP for the last 30 years, it would mean that the people of Bihar are willing to embrace a new alternative.

One seat cannot change the state's condition overnight, but it can show the way forward. It can set an example for the other 242 constituencies to look beyond party politics and vote for leaders based on issues, governance, and development.

I just hope Prashant Kishore doesn't become another Kejriwal.
