by design LLM's don't actually know anything. they predict words and each one is a guess
Never ask an LLM for "the" answer or speak in black and white. they operate on degrees of confidence so understanding why they have that confidence is very important

It's remarkable how often LLMs will just regurgitate the common view from Reddit. AFAICT, no one really seems to see this as a looming knowledge crisis.
Unless you think relying on Reddit is OK, then LLMs desperately need to be fixed to stop doing that.
