Rainmaker Technology Corporation (announcement by @ADoricko / @RainmakerCorp)…

Brief

Rainmaker Technology Corporation announced the Rainmaker Fellowship, a three-month program to fund and mentor high-impact weather-modification research. The initiative aims to build a leading atmospheric-science lab, support work at national labs, and cultivate US postgraduate talent by appointing professors and grad students as fellows who remain in academia. Rainmaker is hiring broadly and cites China’s existing degree programs as context for accelerating the field.

Why it matters

Rainmaker Technology Corporation (announcement by @ADoricko / @RainmakerCorp) launched the Rainmaker Fellowship: a three-month program supporting high-impact research in weather modification.

Key details

  • Program goals are to build the world's best atmospheric science lab specializing in weather modification, bring specialist perspectives to Rainmaker research, support researchers at existing national labs, and cultivate next-generation postgraduate researchers at American universities; fellows may be professors or grad students who remain committed to academia.
  • Rainmaker is hiring aggressively for atmospheric talent of all kinds and explicitly notes that China already has multiple weather-modification degree programs, saying the fellowship should accelerate development in the field.

I’m excited to announce the Rainmaker Fellowship

Our goal is to build the best atmospheric science lab in the world, specializing in weather modification. This program exists to:
1. bring the best specialists’ perspective to Rainmaker’s research
2. support the researchers at our existing national labs
3. cultivate the next generation of weather modification post-graduate researchers at American universities

Rainmaker is hiring aggressively for atmospheric talent of all kinds, but is excited to bring in professors and grad students as fellows who remain committed to academic research.

China has multiple weather modification degree programs. I hope this program accelerates development in the field both at Rainmaker and beyond.

If you are a dedicated researcher that wants to solve the weather and make Earth habitable, you are welcome to apply
