"Rest in Peace to the best sister ever. Sydney fought so hard and was always so positive and spread happiness wherever she went. Thank you all," her brother said.

Towle suffered from cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). In April, she revealed to her followers that chemo wasn't working.

The next month, she told her followers the sad news that her oncologist was recommending she transition to end-of-life care.
