One of my favorite examples is Ted Chiang’s “Liking What You See: A Documentary,” which is a short story about a college campus debating whether to require a procedure that blocks the brain’s ability to evaluate physical attractiveness.

It’s told as a documentary of competing perspectives, essentially a Socratic dialogue in fiction
