You will read about China more and more often on your timeline: friends visiting, people considering relocating. The visa is not easy, and the language barrier is real.
Still, this could become a new destination for many. One reason above all: for foreigners, foreign income is essentially tax-free. The exemption runs for six years, and one stay of more than 30 consecutive days outside the country essentially restarts the clock.
So yes, there are plenty of reasons for Chinamaxing, with all the nuances, and without the political debate that would take this thread very far away.
I'm not here to sell you anything. I'm just telling you: go visit, and watch with your own eyes. I think that is what makes the most sense, for anyone.
