Brief

A pair of posts on 2026-08-08: @DA_Stockman argued that strict adherence to the founders' 'no entangling alliances' would eliminate 'Dubowitless' by removing foreign incentives to hire 'shameless shills.' Daniel Davis (@DanielLDavis1) rebutted, calling the post paranoid, flagged the author's FDD affiliation and policy influence, and warned such rhetoric could provoke domestic violence or unnecessary wars.

If America adhered to the "no entangling alliances" wisdom of the founders, Dubowitless would be out of business. That's because foreign nations wouldn't find it worthwhile to put shameless shills on their payrolls!

This is the most bizarre, paranoid, near schizophrenic rant I have seen in decades in this country.

This fellow is literally seeing an enemy under every bush, and is terrified of his own shadow. If it’s only the delusions of a single individual and his organization FDD, that’s something they can figure out. But he is in a position to influence US policy, and if anyone in authority takes actions on these hyperventilating rants, it could do enormous harm to our country.

Look at his so-called enemies List: many of them are simply Americans with a different political view than he has. But rather than put forward policies that he believes are superior, and then letting the will American voting public make the decision at the voting booth — the way democracy is supposed to work — he wants to categorize these fellow Americans as enemies, equal to presumed foreign enemies.

These thoughts are very, very dangerous, because they could lead to civil violence within our borders, and unnecessary wars beyond them.
