A $133,752 revenue number attached to an AI tool is exactly the kind of claim worth pulling apart before anyone repeats it.
Checking what is actually behind the numbers is most of what I do here.
So I looked at the mechanics rather than the headline. The claim is not that a model got smarter. It is that work which had no owner finally got done, which is a capacity story, not a capability one.
That distinction matters, because capability claims are where AI budgets go to die. Teams buy the frontier model, hit the usage cap, get quietly downgraded, and quality drops before anyone notices.
@viktor_com sits on the capacity side. He is an AI employee inside Slack who takes a job end to end, reaches around 3,000 tools through one connection instead of nine integrations, and returns a proposal you approve before it ships. The approval step is the audit trail.
What I did not expect: he flagged that two numbers in a summary he built came from different reporting windows, before I asked.
Nico Torres, founder of Authority Makers, is the source on the original figure: "In the first thirty days, it added $133,752 a year in new recurring revenue." Same team, same payroll.
Capacity, not capability. That is the actual unlock.
