how is this controversial? your company pays a lot for you to provide value to the firm. part of your job is staying up to date on the best tools so you can maximally leverage yourself and if you dont, you get the can.

Meta's CTO, Boz, recently told employees that any extra time freed up by AI should NOT be used for vacation.
Instead, it should go towards building "cooler stuff" at Meta.
Requesting more time off from your boss is not a "good career strategy," he added.
