These are my favorite budget-friendly iPhone 17e accessories

Brief

Fernando Silva’s 9to5Mac roundup positions the iPhone 17e as Apple’s newly credible budget handset, mainly because MagSafe support opens the accessory ecosystem while the phone itself gains the A19 chip, C1X connectivity, and 15W wireless charging. The recommendations are explicitly price-sensitive rather than premium: a $19 ESR case that combines drop protection and a stand, a $39 Kuxiu X55 foldable 3-in-1 charger that includes both power brick and travel case, and a $69 Sharge battery pack that stands out for unusually high specs at this tier, including 10,000mAh capacity, Qi2.2 magnetic charging up to 25W, 35W USB-C output, and active cooling. The rest of the list rounds out a practical Apple setup with discounted AirPods, low-cost MagSafe wallets, and a braided 100W USB-C cable. It is essentially a curated buyer’s guide for assembling a full iPhone 17e accessory kit without paying Apple-brand premiums.

Apple finally gave the iPhone 17e the meaningful updates it originally deserved. The 17e offers better performance with the A19 chip, stronger connectivity with the new C1X chip, and MagSafe (which also supports faster 15W wireless charging)! At just $599, it feels like an entry-level iPhone that isn’t full of compromises, and I think it will be the new default iPhone for most people. The most exciting addition has to be MagSafe, which unlocks thousands of new accessories for the 17e. Here are some of my favorites (most of these will work with any iPhone).

The first thing most will do is get a case. There are thousands of cases to choose from with different features, functions, and price points. One of my favorites is a simple and protective stand case from ESR. You get:

Built-in adjustable stand

MagSafe compatible with strong magnetic alignment

Military-grade drop protection with Air Guard corners

Scratch-resistant clear back

Anti-yellowing materials

What makes this case is that it solves multiple problems. You, of course, get the added protection of the case. It has a lip for the camera bump as well as a lip for the display so it does not touch the surface when face down. They have also included a kickstand so you can easily prop it up to view your content, as well as additional MagSafe magnets. The best part is that it’s only $19! They do offer a few more colors if you are willing to spend up to $24. But if you want a no-frills case that does everything you need at a budget-friendly price, this is an easy option.

The best addition to the iPhone 17e is MagSafe. The byproduct of adding that is that it also now supports much faster wireless charging up to 15W. The best and most budget friendly charger that I have ever tested is Kuxiu’s X55 charger. You get:

3-in-1 wireless charging (iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods)

Up to 15W wireless charging\

Foldable, compact design for travel

Includes charging brick, cable, and carrying case

Supports standby mode

This charger is one of the best deals in accessories. For $39, you get the 3-in-1 charger, a braided USB-C cable, a 20W charging brick, and a hardshell zipper carrying case. The charging stand can also be laid flat, propped up as a stand, or folded completely into a charging puck. So if you have an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods, this is an easy recommendation.

This is a fun one that I tested a few months back. One of my favorite types of MagSafe accessories are Magsafe power banks. They are so convenient. This new one by Sharge is awesome. You get:

10,000mAh battery capacity

Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging up to 25W

35W USB-C fast charging

Built-in USB-C cable for added convenience

Integrated kickstand for hands-free use

Active cooling system with internal fan

Transparent design with RGB lighting

What I like about this one is that it doesn’t feel like a typical boring power bank. The built-in cable and stand make it super practical, and the faster wireless speeds combined with active cooling make it a great option if you’re constantly on your phone throughout the day. You get all of this for just $69. Hard to beat this at that price point.

If you also need a pair of earbuds, do not be tempted to get anything other than AirPods. AirPods work like magic with iOS devices. Right now is a great time to get them because they are both hevily discounted. These are some of the standout features:

AirPods 4

Personalized Spatial Audio and Voice Isolation

Seamless Apple ecosystem pairing

Airpods Pro 3

Active Noise Cancellation + Adaptive Audio

Heart rate sensor

Silicone tips for a more secure fit

Transparency mode and enhanced audio features

More immersive listening experience overall

If you want the best, then the AirPods Pro 3 are currently on sale for just $199. If you want to save some cash then the AirPods 4 are down to $99.

I am going to recommend two wallets here. These are pretty self-explanatory, so it just comes down to preference and how much you want to spend on a Magsafe wallet. The first is the ESR MagSafe wallet, which is my budget-friendly pick. You get:

Holds up to 5 cards or cards + cash

RFID-blocking protection

Strong MagSafe magnetic attachment

Slim design for its capacity

This one is just $12. Easy to recommend.

If you want something with a bit more character, check out the Spigen Classic LS MagSafe wallet. It takes inspiration from the old Apple Lisa with some awesome easter egg design cues. It is also just a very well-made MagSafe wallet. You get:

Holds up to 3 cards

Durable hard-shell construction

Retro Macintosh-inspired design

Slim and pocket-friendly

Pricing on this one is $29. If you care about design and quality and the nostalgia of old Apple tech, this is a fun one!

I wanted to make sure I recommended a high-quality USB-C cable for your iPhone 17e. Theres a lot to like about this one. It’s well-made, supports fast charging, and uses magnets to keep it from tangling! You get:

USB-C to USB-C cable

Magnetic self-coiling design for tangle-free use

Up to 100W fast charging support

Durable nylon braided construction

So if you just want a nice, durable, untangleable cable, this one for $19 is one anyone can carry in their everyday carry.

Final thoughts

The name of the game here is value. All of these accessories provide everything you need at a fraction of the price of some others. I have seen brands charge $200+ for accessories like the X55 charger that is only $40. As I mentioned, these accessories will also work with any iPhone, but I wanted to stay budget-focused since the iPhone 17e is the value iPhone for most!

What do you think? Did you get an iPhone 17e? Have you tried these accessories? Let’s discuss below
