I rough out my maps in QGIS, but if you spend any time mapping in Illustrator then @Avenza MAPublisher is worth the thousands. Having geo-aware vectors saves me hours on larger projects This is real actual spon-con, they gave me a free year, but I’ve used MAPub for 15 years. A+
