Launch BF: More of your best visitors would talk to you if it were easier
TLDR: Most startup sites still make visitors fill out a form or send an email to ask a question. Turns out if you add a
chat functionality, you get tons of “hidden demand” engaging with your brand, and free conversion.
Clarm adds AI agents to your site, Discord, Slack, and GitHub - visitors ask, get answers, get navigated to the right
page, and if they are serious, get handed off to a live video call with you.
6.1x more conversations from the same traffic for a YC-backed Series B. Setup in 10 seconds:

I think a lot of founders underestimate how many people land on their site, get stuck on something small, and leave.
Look at your PostHog session replays - I guarantee you have visitors who were interested and bounced because the path to
talking to you was too annoying.
Not bad leads. Just too much friction. They have a question, they cannot find the answer fast enough (even navigating to
a new page is friction), they do not want to fill out a contact form or email hello@ and wait a day - especially now,
when people are used to talking to AI and getting answers immediately.
That is what we built Clarm for.
It sits on your site, docs, Discord, Slack, and GitHub and does four things:
Infers intent from browsing behavior, pops up at the right time & answers immediately
So people can ask while they are still engaged and paying attention. Core of our “surfacing hidden inbound”, prospects
who would genuinely like to talk to you if it were easier.
FYI, we are also deeply engaged in research on agent to agent interactions to figure out a deeply useful chat interface
for agents.
Moves them to the right place
Agentic browsing - not just “here is a link.” If they need pricing, docs, a comparison page, or a specific workflow,
Clarm navigates them there during the conversation. The page moves. The conversation continues.
Pulls you in when it matters
When a conversation looks interesting, you get a Slack ping with their company name - we deanonymize visitors where
possible - and you can choose to engage Founder Mode and take over the conversation.
Otherwise, the AI routes the visitor based on intent. SOC2 question? Enterprise. Free tier? Move them to get started
right away.
Video call the prospect live
Instead of dumping them into a queue or a form, you offer to jump straight into a live video call from that Slack alert.
That is the goal: not fewer founder conversations - more of the right ones, exactly when they are happening.
Left: what it looks like in Slack; right: what it looks like for your prospects
For one YC-backed Series B healthcare company, over the first 30 days, Clarm drove:
4,624 conversations from the same traffic (6x compared to their email, and about 2-5% of total website visits)
25% of those showed buying intent
60% of support was handled automatically - their knowledge base is well documented, which helps, but still
60% of the interesting conversations happened outside business hours
We have seen usage climb steadily month over month - we think it is because people are genuinely used to talking to AI
now and expect to be able to ask questions and get answers immediately.
We also run Clarm on open-source projects such as Better Auth and Skyvern, with 100K+ combined GitHub stars. There the
problem is different but related: too many repetitive questions, not enough founder time, and a few people in the crowd
who are actually evaluating the product seriously. Clarm helps with both.
We use it ourselves on clarm.com. I run founder-led sales. When somebody interesting shows up, I get
the Slack ping and can jump in immediately.
I am Marcus, YC P25. I spent 8 years building AI at Deutsche Bank and NielsenIQ. During our YC batch, Cursor made
building so easy - but every time we soft-pivoted, getting meaningful conversations and figuring out GTM was still the
same grind.
That is the vision behind Clarm: build a company with just Cursor and Clarm (holy grail). We are not there yet, but we
are getting closer.
