Aakash Gupta pitches a Claude-based job-search system focused on post-interview…

Brief

Aakash Gupta pitches a Claude-based job-search system focused on post-interview debriefs, arguing that candidates quickly forget where they underperformed. His setup analyzes interview transcripts, applies a scoring rubric with time and specificity constraints, rewrites weak answers using the candidate’s own experience, and adapts future mock interviews based on patterns found across 5-6 real interviews.

The hardest part of job searching is the thing that happens after the interview.

You walk out. You know you fumbled that stakeholder conflict question at the 14-minute mark. You gave a generic answer when you had a perfect story from your last role. You can feel the lost value. But by tomorrow, the details are fuzzy. You can't reconstruct what went wrong.

The interview debrief system I built solves this. Drop a Granola transcript into a folder. Claude categorizes every question by type, scores every answer on structure, specificity, and skill demonstration, and flags the exact moments where you left value on the table. Then it writes specific rewrites using your own experience library.

The scoring rubric matters. Structure: was the answer organized and under 2 minutes? If your spoken answer exceeds 400 words, the score drops automatically. Specificity: "increased revenue 11%, $14M annually" lands differently than "improved revenue significantly." Skill demonstration: did the answer prove the PM skill the question was testing?

Each debrief updates your interview history. The mock interviewer reads that history. After 5-6 real interviews, it auto-prioritizes the question types you score lowest on. Your weak spots get more reps. Your strong spots stay sharp.

Every interview makes the next one better. The system remembers what you forgot.

I coached hundreds of candidates into OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta AI, and Google.

Now I've put that entire system into Claude Code. 18 skills. Resume tailor. Mock interviews. Negotiation.

All automated:
