My favorite part of Firebender background agents is the UX.
Each agent lives in its own tab with its own git worktree, like Chrome for coding. Switching between agents feels light and intuitive.
The tab title even updates with an icon so I can instantly see whether an agent is still working or ready for review.
When I’m done, I just merge, close the tab, and move on.
This is by far the best multi-agent UX I’ve ever used, and I'm excited to bring it to the JetBrains ecosystem. They deserve some love too <3

JetBrains is no longer behind. @firebender_com just launched the first-ever background coding agents for all JetBrains IDEs.
These coding agents are incredibly intelligent, have isolated workspaces, and don’t require any cloud setup.
