Dirac (founders Jason Carman and Peter) built Build OS to reunite design and build by converting CAD into step-by-step assembly work instructions. Using computational geometry and physics simulation, the platform auto-generates ~80–90% of instructions and animations, lets engineers annotate the remaining tribal 10–20%, and aims to integrate manufacturability feedback into design with upcoming CAD integrations and ML.
