Tribal is a mobile-first community-finance platform (beta, ~200 users as of Sept 2021) that lets Black diaspora influencers monetize groups (subscription/patronage) and enable money-pooling for shared investments; the team just executed its first pilot transaction (~10 people) and plans to use crypto for low-cost cross-border payments and eventually launch a native TribalCoin plus smart-contract tooling, while currently requiring admin approvals and not yet mediating legal ownership of pooled assets.
