NREL's Procurement Analysis Tool (PAT) is a free web tool for comparing off‑site procurement choices across sites and regions. It collects three simple inputs, models results over a 25‑year project life using NREL supply curves, ATB and SAM, and presents procurement options, preselected resource regions and cost/emissions/grid‑value rankings based on balancing‑authority modeling through 2050.
