Ripple Energy, founded by Sarah Merrick, enables households to collectively own slices of large-scale, subsidy-free wind and solar via a co-op. Members (avg. £2,200 buy-in) keep their retail supplier while the supplier buys PPA power at operating cost; projects include a 2.5 MW pilot, a 19 MW wind build, and a 42 MW solar park, with a new solar launch planned in December.
