Why I’m Building This Keyboard

Brief

A designer-built ergonomic keyboard prototype targets the creator's wrist pain by refining a split, tented layout: current models relieved pain but suffered wasted top/side space, an inter-half tether, and $40 plastic tenting legs on a $100 keyboard. The new wireless aluminum unibody keeps familiar key placement and adds a compact tenting mechanism that doubles as a travel case; a prototype is ready and a Kickstarter is forthcoming.
