The DEF CON 32 bike ride, led by JP (aka “punk rock”) in his 17th DEF CON, ran its 14th edition with 63 riders. Cyclists rent bikes ~5 miles out, depart ~7:30, and ride ~25 miles round-trip to Red Rock; organizers run a no-drop support car, noted a first crash (rider OK), and warned of 95–100°F heat and a 1,200 ft/2.5 mi optional climb.
