bash-gres hit v1.0 on 2026-04-07: the release abandons a bespoke bash interpreter in favor of just-bash, adds docs and polish, and signals upcoming custom commands optimized for use cases such as jq (try: bash-gres.vercel.app). Malte Ubl (@cramforce) asked if the FS could be used inside just-bash instead of as a top-level component.

Published vesion 1.0 of bash-gres. Dropped the custom bash interpreter and went full in into just-bash. Also added docs and polished some stuffs. Also planning to build custom commands to make it more efficient on specific use cases (e.g. jq).
