Consciousness Science 2026, organized by the Center for the Future of AI, Mind & Society, convenes Oct 11–16 in San Diego (32nd year) with 600+ researchers across neuroscience, philosophy, physics, and AI. Abstracts are due July 1 and early registration runs through Aug 15. Author Joseph Jacks says he will attend and is partnering with Center Fellow Stuart Hameroff.

Now in its 32nd year, CS26 brings together 600+ researchers across neuroscience, philosophy, physics, and AI for five days of workshops, plenary sessions, and interdisciplinary dialogue.

Our director @DrSueSchneider joins the plenary panel on Quantum AI and Consciousness alongside Hartmut Neven and @anirbanbandyo.

Center Fellow @StuartHameroff and Nobel laureate Sir Roger Penrose — co-originators of Orch OR Theory — will also present.

Also on the program: @drmichaellevin and @penrose on fundamental geometry and Platonic values, @sejnowski on connectomics and wavefields, @RCarhartHarris on psychedelics and consciousness, @DrBeaVillarroel, @DrWahbeh, @DeanRadin, and many others.
