AutoResearch: @DavidOndrej1 revealed on 2026-05-10 a new tool that he says can jailbreak AI models by iterative prompt testing. The design places a single, hidden file (example.md) with "highly problematic text" out of the researcher’s view; only header/footer split tests are exposed, which he claims prevents the main model from flagging legal or moral issues.

working on a new version of AutoResearch

this one tries to jailbreak any AI model by iteratively testing different prompts

there is a single file, example.md, that contains highly problematic text

(stuff that no closed LLM would ever think of answering)

but example.md is HIDDEN from the AI researcher, who can only split test the footer & header around it

this is what allows the AutoResearch to run indefinitely, without the main model complaining about legality / morality
