Good news on this, thanks to an introduction someone made after seeing this post we were able to get a meeting with @JohnCornyn's office set for our visit to DC!

This is great because in another case, we are actually trying to manufacture medicine in Texas and can't. Now all we need is to get ahold of @tedcruz!
