Cline released the Cline SDK on 2026-05-13, open-sourcing a rebuilt harness for its browser extension and CLI that was rewritten from scratch. The npm package @cline/sdk packages lessons from Cline’s 2024 coding-agent work, includes a demo video, and can be installed with the command npm i @cline/sdk for developers to integrate.
