I'm back with a new company

Brief

Farzad Ban’s newsletter is mainly a founder update and product launch note: after closing OpenPurpose in 2025, he has started S7RX and already released s.page, a tool aimed at creative freelancers running service businesses. The note includes brief operating context from his prior firms, frames s.page as codifying his lessons from scaling creative businesses, and previews additional experiments such as a 24/7 office camera and a future fashion-related launch.

Why it matters

Founder Farzad “Blank” Ban reintroduced himself on 2026-02-17 after shutting down OpenPurpose in 2025 and announced a new company, S7RX.

Key details

  • Ban says OpenPurpose had more than 100 creatives and worked with clients including Nothing, Shop by Shopify, Krea, and Amie; earlier ventures included 3drops and OFC, whose products were used by Microsoft, Google, Dropbox, Intercom, and Framer.
  • S7RX launched its first product within roughly a month of starting: s.page, positioned as an all-in-one app for creative freelancers to showcase work, manage leads, collect payments, and share updates.
  • The post also mentions an experimental 24/7 office livestream on S7RX.com and hints that the company’s next release will be in fashion.

Last time I sent you a newsletter was a few years ago. You probably have already forgotten about me. My name is Farzad “Blank” Ban, I was the founder of OpenPurpose.

The leading design partner for founders which employed over 100 creatives and worked with companies like Nothing, Shop by Shopify, Krea, Amie and more. I closed OP in 2025. Before that I ran 3drops working with enterprises and governments. And OFC which made products used by Microsoft, Google, Dropbox, Intercom, Framer and many more.

I’m sending you this email to let you know I’m back. And I’m building a new company. It’s called S7RX. I tell you what it means later. But what I’m building is what’s important now. I’m building products I love and I hope you enjoy them too. I started it last month and already rolled out our first app. It’s called s.page \- the only app creative freelancers need to grow their service business, from showcasing your work to managing leads, collecting payments and sharing updates. Here’s an example of how it looks: s.page/s7rx \- It’s basically everything I learned from starting and scaling creative service businesses in one simple place. I even wrote a couple of protocols to share the essence of what I know with you so you can do it better. You can find them here s.page/s7rx/products

I also put up a camera in our office that streams 24/7. For now. It’s an experiment. You can view it on S7RX.com You might catch my next release which will be in fashion.

I want to stay in touch. Sending you short emails saying what I’m up to. What I’ve learned. And hear from you. To build something beyond the screen. If you are still interested, I would love to see your name on our new list. Subscribe at S7RX and expect my next letter soon.
