There is a well-established economic consensus that publicly-subsidized stadiums don't pay for themselves. This would be especially true for Hammond, Indiana, which sits within modest driving distance of a much more attractive destination.

Like, man, Indiana is getting SCREWED.
If they move to Indiana, the Bears would keep ALL revenue generated by the stadium and have the option to buy back the stadium in 40 years, after Indiana taxpayers have paid off the bonds.
