Dillon Loomis says he only followed SpaceX loosely until learning the IPO timing…

Brief

Dillon Loomis says he only followed SpaceX loosely until learning the IPO timing a few months before June 12, 2026, when an unexpected career shift prompted deep research. He is captivated by SpaceX's engineering and AI-compute implications, emphasizes Starlink connecting “millions” offline, compares the arc to Tesla, and plans to cover/support $SPCX.

Until a few months ago I only followed SpaceX at a distance. I have no plans to travel to space, I didn't have a direct path to invest in the company and I was too busy with other interests/endeavors so I never took the time to dive in and research the company properly

That all changed a few months ago when we learned of the timing of the IPO and my career took a very unexpected turn. Long story short I've been able to spend some real time learning about and trying to understand the company in depth like I have with Tesla

All I can say is I wish I would have been this plugged in years ago. I'm fascinated by the engineering and the mission and the potential in this compute race for superiority in our AI future. Plus it always helps when you have so many loud mouths that love yelling about how none if it will work - I lived it for years with Tesla and we know how that turned out

But beyond that, Starlink alone connecting millions of people that would otherwise be "unplugged" from the global digital ecosystem is deserving of our support

All this to say, getting to learn more about SpaceX has been such an enjoyable experience and a lot more inspiring than I thought it would be. Watching this company evolve and getting to cover it is going to be a joy for many years to come

We live in incredible times man $SPCX
