I should clarify: I'm not in favor of billionaires pouring money into political groups in general. When it's 501c4s engaged in direct spending in elections and campaigns, I hate that even more, and presumably that is what a good chunk of the report highlights.
I don't mean to equate dark money green 501c3s and dark money abundance 501c4s. But I think many of those rightly opposed to the political spending of the latter give a 100% free pass to the elite, anti-mass-membership politicking with billionaire money of the former.
