SK hynix Expected to Generate Over $75 Billion in Gains from Kioxia Stake Investment
- SK hynix is estimated to have realized KRW 40 trillion, or USD 26.46 billion, in gains from Bain Capital’s sale of its Kioxia stake.
- However, SK hynix still holds a 14–15% stake in Kioxia in the form of convertible bonds. Based on Kioxia’s current market capitalization, the value of this remaining stake is estimated at JPY 7.9 trillion, or USD 49.2 billion.
