openai assembling the avengers over here, first Noam Shazeer now Dean (both in the last 24hrs!)
Noam led Google Deepmind’s engineering and designed the transformer architecture for LLMs!
Dean writes very thoughtful about ai policy (personally enjoy his pieces a lot) and will be responsible for designing the right safeguards for new GPT models
this bodes very well for gpt 5.6 and beyond
