I use Pangram all the time and in my experience it is fairly unreliable.
It's missed fully AI generated text, and marked fully human generated text as AI.
That doesn't mean Pangram isn't useful. It is. But you can't accept the results on blind faith.

Literary prizes need to start including Pangram checks in their process, or else change the rules to make AI writing ok. It’s very simple!
